PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection apparatus 1 for a display device, which can prevent the leakage of electricity even when the surrounding of the inspection apparatus 1 is in high humidity and can reduce malfunction. SOLUTION: The inspection apparatus 1 for the display device is provided with a protection film 14 formed so as to cover an area excluding connection parts with electrode terminals 23a to 23j out of connection terminals 111a to 111k formed on a lighting testing substrate 11, test signal inputting terminals 112a to 112d, 113a to 113d, connection parts between the connection terminals 111a to 111k and connection wires 115a to 115f and connection parts between the test signal inputting terminals 112a to 112d, 113a to 113d and the connection wires 115a to 115f.
