ADJUST METHOD OF DIE HEAD COATING GAP, AND COATING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a good coating adjusting a coating gap suitably in a die head type coating device using a backup roll. SOLUTION: The method comprises the step of discharging a coating liquid from the die head 2 face-to-face arranged to the backup roll 1, of measuring a fluid pressure of the coating liquid in the die head by a pressure sensor 14b, 14c fit on right and left areas of the die head 2 during the coating of a web 3 running between the backup roll and the die head, and of controlling both end positions of the die head 2 such that the measured liquid pressure fall within a liquid-coatable pressure range suitable for a film forming and the difference of both measured values become small.
