CONTENT TRANSMITTING APPARATUS, CONTENT ENCRYPTION PROGRAM, CONTENT RECEIVING APPARATUS, AND CONTENT DECRYPTION PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content receiving apparatus and content decryption program by which a key can efficiently be distributed.

SOLUTION: A key storage unit 302 stores a package key to be a basis for generating a content key. A broadcast receiving unit 303 receives a broadcast wave containing a seed key associated with contents from a broadcasting station. A key generation unit 304 generates the content key using the package key stored by the key storage unit 302 and the seed key received by the broadcast receiving unit 302. Since the content key is generated using a common seed key being independent of viewers of the contents between the viewers, the latitude is caused in the band used for transmitting broadcasting waves and the key can efficiently be distributed.
