<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gate management system that enables management of passage through a gate by registering and collating a user by use of an existing mobile terminal that the user owns. <P>SOLUTION: The gate management system includes: an input means for inputting both an ID number characteristic of the IC chip of a mobile terminal and previously given to the IC chip and ticket kind information; a storage means for storing the ID number and the ticket kind information in association at the time of the input; a collating means for reading the ID number when the gate is used and performing collation to see if a matching ID number is included in the ID numbers in the storage means; a determining means for determining the consistency of the gate and the ticket kind information if the matching ID number is found to exist as the result of the collation; and a gate control means for controlling the gate to allow passage if the determining means determines that passage is permitted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
