PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection terminal allowing its plug to be easily and surely attached to and removed from a terminal block and preventing short-circuit even when the plug contacts with the neighboring terminal block with a simple, small and inexpensive structure. SOLUTION: The connection terminal 10 includes a pair of terminal block bodies 14 projectingly fixed to a panel 12 of a front face of the apparatus and a plug 16 for electrically connecting the terminal block bodies to each other. The plug is a stick-like member which has both side end parts where metallic surfaces M are exposed and a side central part of which peripheral surface is coated with an insulator. The terminal block bodies each includes a conductive member 22 having an opening 18 on the tip part which opens toward the projecting direction of the terminal block body and a coating member 24 as an insulator for coating the peripheral surface of the conductive member. The opening of the conductive member is formed of two opposing parallel flat springs 18a for nippedly lock the plug from its sides, which is inserted from the projecting direction of the terminal block body.
