PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device which suppresses generation of wrinkles of the fixing belt to prevent a damage of the fixing belt and prevents an image gap. SOLUTION: The fixing device has: a pair of heating roller 1 and a fixing roller 2 provided in parallel at an interval; a fixing belt 4 rotatably provided by the heating roller 1 and the fixing roller 2; and a pressure roller 5 provided so as to abut on the fixing roller 2 via the fixing belt 4, wherein (α) the fixing belt 4 has guide parts 4A provided with many grooves in the oblique direction from the center side toward the outside on both sides outside the rear side image area, and (β) the fixing roller 2 has many grooves 2a provided so as to be engaged with the many grooves of the guide parts 4A provided on both sides outside the rear side image area of the fixing belt 4 on both edge sides of the fixing roller 2.
