BIOLOGICAL SIGNAL DETECTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that bending of an optical fiber is caused by the displacement amount of the whole recessed and projecting member, so that detection sensitivity is degraded relatively when displacement is added locally to the recessed and projecting member in the constitution of a conventional biological signal detector.

SOLUTION: The detector has: a flexible piezoelectric sensor 8 for detecting pressure fluctuation generated from a living body; a pressurizing plate 6 having two or more projecting parts 5 arranged so as to cross with the piezoelectric sensor 8; and a support 9 for fixing the piezoelectric sensor 8. The piezoelectric sensor 8 is arranged between the support 9 and the pressurizing plate 6 and pressurized and deformed by the projecting parts 5 of the pressurizing plate 6. Since the pressurizing plate 6 itself having the projecting parts 5 is curved and deformed, a large displacement amount is obtained even by local vibration, so that the biological signal is detected with high sensitivity.
