PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceramic roller which will not cause cracks in a cylindrical body layer, when heated to a temperature of 150°C or higher in the ceramic roller provided with a metal shaft core, and the cylindrical body layer of porous ceramic formed on an outer periphery of the shaft core. SOLUTION: The ceramic roller is provided with the metal shaft core; the ceramic cylindrical body layer formed on the outer periphery of the shaft core, and an adhesive layer, having elasticity indicated between the shaft core and the cylindrical body layer.
