摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a layered type electrophotographic photoreceptor that can maintain excellent image quality even in a high temperature and high humidity environment or under continuous repeated use and to provide an image forming apparatus using the above photoreceptor, even in an image forming apparatus using an organic photoreceptor having a subbing layer containing surface treated titanium oxide having an extremely small particle size and using an LED as an exposure light source. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic photoreceptor has at least the subbing layer and a photosensitive layer, formed in this order on a conductive substrate. The subbing layer comprises at least titanium oxide fine particles and a binder resin and has a film thickness of 3μm or less. The titanium oxide fine particles are subjected to surface treatment with alumina and silica and have a number average primary particle size of 20 nm or less.
