PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent increase in load of a server device by monitoring processing from a client terminal. SOLUTION: During system operation, a user activates a monitoring condition setting program at an arbitrary timing in each client terminal 3, and inquires whether to set a new monitoring condition from the server device 2. When the answer from a monitoring condition determination part of the server device 2 is that monitoring condition can be set, a monitoring condition setting part stores a new monitoring condition in the client terminal 3, and when the answer is that the monitoring condition cannot be set, the monitoring condition setting part notifies the effect to the user, and the client terminal 3 is terminated without storage of a new monitoring condition. According to this, a monitoring condition exceeding the processing capability of the server device 2 is not set to prevent increase in load of the server device 2, and monitoring processing in the server device 2 can be normally operated.
