PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire capable of sufficiently and easily securing the drawing resistance of a carcass 9 while reducing rolling resistance and restricting an increase of the weight of the pneumatic tire 1. SOLUTION: Both edge sides of the carcass 9 are divided into multiple branch pieces 21 having ply cords, and the multiple branch pieces 21 are formed of multiple first branch pieces 21A folded back from the inside W1 in the tire cross direction by a bead core 5 and multiple second branch pieces 21B folded back from the outside W1 in the tire cross direction by the bead core 5.
