PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press where the assembling and maintenance of a speed reducer can be facilitated. SOLUTION: The speed reducer is arranged at the outside of a crown frame 131, and is provided with: a first speed reducing mechanism 22 provided at the side of a servomotor 21 and performing speed reduction at a uniform speed; and a second speed reducing mechanism 23 provided at the side of an eccentric mechanism 24 and performing speed reduction at a non-uniform speed. The first speed reducing mechanism 22 and the second speed reducing mechanism 23 are unitized, respectively, and are arranged in series along the shaft line direction of an eccentric shaft 241. Upon its maintenance, an operator has no need of accessing the inside of the crown frame, thus the maintenance operation is facilitated. Since the two speed reducing mechanisms 22, 23 with different kinds are previously unitized, upon the assembling and maintenance of the speed reducer, only the unitized speed reduction mechanisms 22, 23 shall be detached from the crown frame 131 or the like, thus the assembling/maintenance operations are facilitated.
