<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalyst layer of a fuel cell electrode in which a power generation property of a fuel cell can be improved by controlling condensation of catalyst powder particles and forming as many three-phase interfaces as possible in the catalyst layer, when forming the catalyst layer for the fuel cell electrode from catalyst powder. <P>SOLUTION: Catalyst carrying particles 610 formed of conductive particles on which a fuel cell reaction catalyst is carried, a fabric substance 630 and an electrolyte material 620 are granulated to form catalyst powders and a catalyst layer composed of catalyst powders is formed to contact an electrolyte membrane and the fuel cell electrode is produced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
