PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recognize a broadcast program that a user can view reliably by classifying it as a broadcast program that the user cannot view. SOLUTION: An on-vehicle broadcast receiver comprises: a broadcast station selection instructor 31; a receiver 32 that receives a broadcast based on the instruction, and acquires EPG information that is superimposed during the broadcast and comprises a plurality of pieces of broadcast program information including broadcast area information; a navigation section 33 for calculating a route to a destination from a current position on a map and the estimated passage time of the journey of the route; a storage 34 for storing area identification information and the corresponding area on the map to the information relatedly; a control unit 15 that checks the corresponding area from the storage 34 by broadcast area information in electronic program table information acquired by the receiver 32, and selects the broadcast program information to which a broadcast area corresponds, and that to which the broadcast area does not correspond when moving along a passage path based on the checked result and the estimated passage time; and a display control unit 13 and a display unit 11 for displaying the EPG information while the selected result is reflected.
