A surfactant composition includes a first surfactant, a second surfactant, and a polyalkylene glycol. The first surfactant is of the general formula R<SUP>1</SUP>-O-(A)<SUB>m</SUB>H, wherein R<SUP>1 </SUP>is an aliphatic hydrocarbon having 10 carbon atoms, A is an alkyleneoxy group having from 2 to 5 carbon atoms, and m is a positive number. The second surfactant is of the general formula R<SUP>2</SUP>-O-(B)<SUB>n</SUB>H, wherein R<SUP>2 </SUP>is an aliphatic hydrocarbon having from 12 to 14 carbon atoms, B is an alkyleneoxy group having from 2 to 5 carbon atoms, and n is a positive number. The polyalkylene glycol is present in the surfactant composition in an amount of from 3 to 20 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the surfactant composition.
