Upon detection of an event concerning boarding, a power supply unit (102) supplies power to a route search device (100) by a backup power supply always supplied from the moving body and a start control unit (103) starts the route search device (100) by the power supply from the backup power supply. An input unit (104) receives input of destination information concerning a destination point of the moving body upon start using the power supply source as a backup power supply. A recording unit (105) records destination point information to be referenced upon route search in a recording medium if destination point information is inputted by the input unit (104) upon start using the power supply source as the backup power supply.
