<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical transmission apparatus, optical transmission system, and optical transmission method in which the frame format of received data can be identified even in a state a data frame containing real data is not received while communication is established and optical transmission can be smoothly performed. <P>SOLUTION: An optical signal which is constituted of any one of a plurality of the frame formats and contains a clock signal and a data signal, is received, the received optical signal is photoelectric/electro-optic converted, and the clock signal and the data signal corresponding to the frame format are extracted from the photoelectric converted signal. An idle code indicative of a section where real data communication is not performed, and the frame format are stored in association with each other, the idle code is read from the extracted data signal, the frame format corresponding to the read idle code is identified, and transmission processing is executed on the basis of the identified frame format. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
