PURPOSE:To provide the plotting device for ellipse capable of high-quality plotting. CONSTITUTION:This plotting device equipped with a function for plotting an ellipse by designating the central point, short axis and long axis of the ellipse and connecting adjacent points among coordinate points on the elliptical circumference is provided with a setting means 9 for setting the coordinate of the short axis by dividing the short axis into equal intervals as the reference axis of the ellipse, calculating means 12 for calculating the coordinates on the elliptical circumference from the coordinate of the short axis and the long axis, and plotting means 13 for plotting the ellipse by respectively connecting the adjacent coordinates among the coordinates on the elliptical circumference calculated by the calculating means 12. |
