<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the thickness unevenness on the outer peripheral side of a light transmission layer while suppressing the complication of manufacturing processes and a manufacturing device to the minimum when manufacturing an optical information medium, which has an information recording surface on the surface of a substrate and the light transmission layer on the information recording surface and is irradiated with laser beams for recording or reproduction through the light transmission layer. <P>SOLUTION: In the optical information medium having the information recording surface on the disk-like support base body having a center hole and the light transmission layer containing a resin on the information recording surface and used so that the laser beams for recording or reproduction are made incident through the light transmission layer, a plurality of recessed parts are formed at the outer peripheral end part in the information recording surface of the disk-like substrate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
