<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a single switch pressed by an operator to automatically operate devices in sequence in switching over from a job to the next job. <P>SOLUTION: An offset rotary press is provided with a strip-like body endless feeding means 100, a printing-plate changing means, a fold-pattern changing means and an ink supplying means. The strip-like body endless feeding means pastes the strip-like body of a new web roll to the strip-like body of an old web roll and continuously supplies strip-like bodies. The printing-plate changing means changes a printing plate supported on a plate cylinder. The fold-pattern changing means of a folder 700 switches the state of the folder according to the fold pattern for next printing. The ink supplying means can reduce the amount of ink up to a standard distribution of ink-film thickness and stack with the distribution of ink-film thickness according to the next printing. Operation of the means in a pre-determined order can be performed by means of a single switch for switching over from a printing to the next printing based on signals from the single switch. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
