<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration suppression device for an elevator, having a means for detecting faults of acceleration sensors themselves installed in a car without adding a specific mechanism etc. <P>SOLUTION: The vibration suppression device for the elevator includes guide rollers 3, guide roller actuators 4, the acceleration sensors 5, and a guide roller control device 8 giving a drive command to the guide roller actuators 4 based on vibration detected by the acceleration sensors 5 to control pressing force and suppressing vibration of the car 2. The guide roller control means 8 includes a means for giving a drive command to the guide roller actuators 4 and vibrating the car 2 when the car 2 is stopped and has no passenger, a means for determining whether or not vibration signals from the acceleration sensors 5 are within a predetermined range, and a means for determining that the acceleration sensors 5 are abnormal when the vibration signals from the acceleration sensors 5 exceed the predetermined range and stopping guide roller control once. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
