<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic dust collector which can suppress a deposition of scattering particles contained in discharged air to a wall surface, or the like of a downstream facility where treated air discharged from the electrostatic precipitator flows. <P>SOLUTION: The electrostatic dust collector is equipped with a charge neutralization means for neutralizing a charge of charged particles contained in purified air discharged from the electrostatic dust collector of two-stage arrangement with a charged part and a dust collection part, and ionized air. In the electrostatic dust collector, a high alternating voltage is applied to an electrode of the dust collection part of the electrostatic dust collector, so as to suppress the charged particles collected in the dust collection part from exfoliating and rescattering, so as to suppress the deposition to the wall surface, or the like in the downstream facility. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
