PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing apparatus removing dusts such as a dust and a film piece mixed into or strongly fixed to an optical plastic film, and a coating apparatus or the like. SOLUTION: The washing apparatus for the optical plastic film is provided with an unwinding part 5 for unwinding a plastic film 1 from a roll wound with the plastic film, a washing part comprising a first washing part 10A for immersing the plastic film 1 in a bath tank 11 of pure water 12 and washing it using an ultrasonic wave and a second washing part 10B for spray-washing the plastic film 1 finished with the first washing using pure water, a water-cutting part by a nip roll 3 and/or an air knife 4, a drying part 50 for the plastic film 1, and a winding-up part 8 for winding-up the plastic film 1 in a rolled shape. In the coating apparatus, the washing apparatus is further installed in front of a coating part 60.
