PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press where influence on press working precision by the twisting of an eccentric shaft is suppressed to the minimum, and press working can be performed at high precision. SOLUTION: A storage unit 41 in a control means 40 is stored with the height regulation amount of a slide to each die. The height regulation amount of the slide corresponds to a delay amount produced at a point position on the side far from a servomotor by twisting produced by a load applied to an eccentric shaft. In accordance with a slide regulation signal from a central control unit 42, as machine setting before press working, the height position of the slide in a point on the side far from the servomotor in the eccentric shaft is regulated to the lower part by the height regulation amount. Since the slide is beforehand inclined in consideration of the inclination of the slide produced by the twisting, the slide is made parallel in the bottom dead point of the slide, thus the press working can be performed at high precision.
