<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for easily mounting a thrust race on which a thrust bearing abuts, to restrict the axial movement of a stator which is built in a torque converter. <P>SOLUTION: In the thrust race mounting structure, the thrust race 8 is approximately ring-shaped with a hole 13 passing through the center, an outer peripheral portion 10 rises on the outer periphery of a surface portion thereof, and a plurality of straight pawls 11, 11 and a plurality of L-shaped pawls 12, 12 are formed on the outer peripheral portion 10. Recessed portions 17, 17 are formed between an outer peripheral face 15 of a stator wheel 2 and an inner ring 16, the surface portion 9 of the thrust race 8 abuts on the surface of the stator wheel and the outer peripheral portion 10 is applied and mounted onto the outer peripheral face 15, and the straight pawls 11, 11 are fitted to the recessed portions 17, 17 and an inner ring front end 18 is caulked and fixed to the L-shaped pawls 12, 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
