THREE-DIMENSIONAL MODEL GENERATOR FOR CATALOG ORDER PRODUCT AND THREE-DIMENSIONAL MODEL GENERATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a three-dimensional product CAD model of a catalog order product in which product specifications are almost stable is quickly constructed.

SOLUTION: A three-dimensional CAD model editor for the catalog order product comprises: a similar product model retrieval processing part for retrieving a similar product model from an existing catalog order product model according to product specifications instruction of the catalog order product and giving an editing instruction to make the similar product model a catalog order product following the product specifications instruction; a product model assembly editing processing part which collates standard parts information by following instruction for fetching and editing the similar product model to the three-dimensional CAD system, gives an assembly editing processing instruction, and creates a target catalog order product three-dimensional model; and a product model storage processing part for storing and processing the catalog order product three-dimensional model created by the product model assembly editing processing part as product model information for reuse.
