PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a configuration capable of improving contrast and sufficiently securing a pixel area by reducing light leakage in a liquid crystal device provided with reflection display areas and transmission display areas.

SOLUTION: In the liquid crystal device 100, a plurality of pixels SP each of which is composed of forming a wire 11 and a reflection layer 115 on a first substrate and provided with a reflection display area R constituted of the reflection layer 115 and a transmission display area T having no reflection layer are arrayed, and the wire 111 is drawn between pixels in the transmission display area, and in the reflection display area.
