PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce component breakages in hardware and loss of data in a memory due to water wetting. SOLUTION: A mobile phone 1 comprises a battery 101 for supplying electric power to internal circuits of a main body, water wetting detection sections 102, 103, 104, and 105 at a plurality of positions, a speaker 106 for outputting a sound, a display section 107 for displaying information contents, a key operation section 108 for information input, a vibrator 109 for output by vibration, a microphone 110 for audio input, a CPU 111 for controlling information from respective sections, the memory 113 holding data of a user, a receiver 114 for outputting audio, an antenna 115 for radio communication with the outside, and a transmission and reception section 112 for controlling outgoing and incoming call. When detecting water wetting, the water wetting detection sections 102, 103, 104, and 105 cut off power supply from the battery 101 to the internal circuits of the mobile phone.
