PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate door opening/closing operation and suppress a projection amount to the vehicle rear side and vehicle upper side in opening/closing of the door. SOLUTION: In a back door structure 10 for the vehicle, a roller 20 which is a turning center part to a roof part 24 of a back door 16 can be moved to a vehicle front side by a slide rail 26. Accordingly, in opening/closing the door, the whole of the back door 16 can be moved to the vehicle front side by the movement of the roller 20. The projection amount to the vehicle rear side during opening/closing of the door can be suppressed thereby. Moreover, since the back door 16 can be in a fully opened state at the approximately horizontal position on the upper side of the roof part 24, the projection amount to the vehicle upper side in the door full opening can be suppressed. Furthermore, since the door opening/closing operation can be performed by applying the operating force to the back door 16 in the opening/closing direction by making the roller 20 as the turning center, same operationality as the conventional flip-up type back door 102 (imaginary line) can be obtained and the door opening/closing operation is facilitated.
