<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolled damp hand towel preparing apparatus capable of improving the productivity of rolled damp hand towels without requiring complicated maintenance work. <P>SOLUTION: An extension rib 47e presses a part of a sheet material S passing between a water spray casing 43 and a conveyor 51. Since the extension rib 47e is brought into contact with only a part of an end of the sheet material S in the direction of conveyance, the sheet material S can smoothly pass between the water spray casing 43 and the conveyor 51. Furthermore, since the extension rib 47e presses only part of the sheet material S, adhesion of the sheet material S to a conveyor belt 51a can be prevented, and therefore, the productivity of the rolled damp hand towels M can be improved. In addition, since the extension rib 47e is not a rotary member such as a roller, not so much dust is accumulated, and such complicated maintenance work as removing the accumulated dust can be eliminated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
