PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form upper and lower layer water-jackets which are allowed to communicate with each other by a communication path in a cylinder head. SOLUTION: A core part 47, which holds a core part 45 for forming an upper-layer water-jacket and a core part 46 for forming a lower-layer water-jacket at a space between them, is made up of supporting core-pars 48, 49 and space-holding core parts 50, 51. The cores 45, 46 are halved at the supporting core part 48. A communication path 53 is made up of the space-holding core parts 50, 51 so as to allow the upper-layer water-jacket 30 to communicate with the lower-layer water-jacket 31 by the space-holding core parts 50, 51.
