PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately move a vehicle even when a steering unit is abnormal. SOLUTION: An operation of a steering wheel 15 is detected by a torque sensor 21 and a steering angle sensor 22, and the detected outputs are transmitted to an in-vehicle LAN 25. A controller for power steering 20 controls electric motor 16 for auxiliary steering power generation on the basis of output signals from the torque sensor 21, the steering angle sensor 22 and a vehicle speed sensor 23. An electronic control type differential unit 3 is controlled by a controller 6 for differential unit and controls the distribution of driving power to a right front wheel 5L and a left front wheel 5R. When a steering unit 10 is abnormal, the controller 20 notifies the fact to the controller 6 via the LAN 25. By receiving the notification, the controller 6 controls the distribution of the driving power on the basis of the output from the torques sensor 21 or the steering angle sensor 22 to turn the vehicle.
