PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sample analysis method capable of acquiring accurate optical information. SOLUTION: This sample analysis method by a specimen analyzer 1 includes a step S31 for acquiring the absorbance of a specimen in the wavelengths of 660 nm and 800 nm which are the wavelengths that are substantially not absorbed by hemoglobin and absorbed by chyle and in the wavelength of 575 nm which is an absorption wavelength of hemoglobin; a step S32d for estimating an influence of the chyle on the absorbance in the wavelength of 575 nm, based on the absorbance in each wavelength of 660 nm and 800 nm; and a step S33a for correcting the absorbance in the wavelength of 575 nm, based on the inferred influence of the chyle in the wavelength of 575 nm.
