PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-standing bag which is easily opened with a bottom of a bag in the self-standing bag formed to have the gusset-type bottom by using a bottom face film, and is suitably fill with lightweigth contents, allows a simplified manufacturing process of the bag, and is economically superior so that a loss rate is low in small-lot production. SOLUTION: In the self-standing bag, a bottom section is formed to have the gusset section 5 in which a laminated film 2 prepared for a bottom face is folded inside and inserted between lower portions of laminated films 1 and 1' prepared for front and back walls. The gusset section 5 is formed so that the gusset section is heat-sealed in a ship-bottom-shaped seal pattern in which its inner center section is low and both sides becomes gradually higher toward the side of the bag. A laminated film which includes at least a polyamide layer and fibered low-density polyethylene layer as a sealant layer and is made of coextrusion forming, is used as the laminated film prepared for the bottom section.
