摘要 The invention relates to optical and electric communications carried out via fibre optic circuits which can be used for the superimposed multiplexing of large groups of city and intercity telecommunication lines. Said invention makes it possible to simplify multiplexing devices which are easily tunable on any range of optical waves. For this purpose, the first variant of the multiplexing device comprises a shuttle-type loop optical path based on mirrors between which a loop consisting of P=1 prisms is arranged. It is used for multiplexing a large number of fibre optic lines. The second variant of the device consists of two or more stages with a shuttle-type loop optical path. The optical automatic telephone exchange comprises the multiline combiners which are common for all or for large groups of lines and a polystage switching system consisting of reusable optical couplers which are connected by means of multipoint interstage screens.
