A composition and a method for preparing the composition are provided to obtain a composition for coating a material, improving the mechanical properties of a material, increasing the adhesion of a polymer or improving the feeling of cosmetic powder. A composition comprises a powder particle of polyamide, co-polyamide, polyether block amide, polyolefin or polyester which is grafted on surface by using at least one grafting monomer functionalized with at least one reactive functional group. The grafting is carried out by mixing the powder particle of polymers with a functionalized grafting monomer, and irradiating light (gamma-rays) or electrons(beta-rays) to the infiltrated powder.
