<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal device in which the number of colors of color filters can be increased without decreasing the productivity, and to provide electronic equipment equipped with the liquid crystal device. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal device has pixels 1f each composed of a plurality of subpixels 1e corresponding to respective colors, wherein the plurality of subpixels 1e include subpixels 1e(R), 1e(G), and 1e(B) of a first type for a plurality of colors which have corresponding colors predetermined by color filters 26(R), 26(G), and 26(B) where colored layers 260(R), 260(G), and 260(G) of the plurality of colors are each formed of a single layer, and subpixels 1e(BG) of a second type which have corresponding colors predetermined by a color filter 26(BG) where colored layers of two or more colors among the colored layers 260(R), 260(G), and 260(B) of the plurality of colors are layered. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
