<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical compensation sheet which contributes to reduction of leak light from an oblique direction of, for example, 60° and tint variation of a liquid crystal display device, especially, an IPS mode or FFS mode liquid crystal display device. <P>SOLUTION: The optical compensation sheet has, on a base, an optical anisotropic layer formed of a cylindrical liquid crystalline compound and a liquid crystalline compound containing a photopolymerization initiator, and the reaction rate of polymerizable groups present in the liquid crystalline composition is ≥70% on a base-side interface of the optical anisotropic layer and ≥70% on an interface on the opposite side from the base. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
