PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device for maintaining high image quality and excellent toner releasing property, and an image forming apparatus equipped with the same. SOLUTION: The fixing device has a fixing member whose outermost layer contains fluorocarbon siloxane rubber a contact member which has fluorine atoms in its outermost layer and comes into contact with the outermost layer surface of the fixing member, and a pressure member, and the image forming apparatus equipped with the same is also provided.
