<p>Pyrimido- nnd imidazo-pyridoindole derivatives, in the form of racemates or optically active isomers, of formula: (I) in which n = 0 or 1, R1 = H, Hal, alkyl or alkoxy or CF3, R2 = H, alkyl, cycloalkyl-alkyl, cycloalkyl, N,N-dialkyl-aminoalkyl or phenyl, R3 = H or alkyl and R4 = H, alkyl or benzyl are useful as anti-anoxia or psychotropic agents in therapy. They are prepared by cyclising a compound of formula: (II) wherein R5 is alkyl, by heating it in an acidic medium, such as ethanolic hydrogen chloride.</p> |
