PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device (camera) allowing a user to recognize inclination by hearing voices even in a state in which a power source of LCD is switched off by being provided with a voice output modification means for modifying voice output in response to a detection result of an attitude detection means, easily performing levelling of the camera, and further recognizing a horizontal state of the camera while looking into a finder. SOLUTION: The imaging device having an imaging means for imaging an object image comprises: an attitude detection means 86 for detecting the attitude; and a voice modification means 65 for modifying output voices in response to the detection result of the attitude detection means 86 by possessing voice output means 83, 84, 85.
