PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily clean a pickup roller of a printing apparatus by utilizing a package material constituting a paper package set in a storing part of a printing apparatus for feeding a medium to be printed. SOLUTION: In this paper package 6, although a both-sided tape 100 is stuck to the inner surface side of the packaging material 8, the packaging material 8 exposing an adhesive part 102 by separation of a releasing paper 101 of the both-sided tape 100, is set in the state of not holding a thermal sensitive paper therebetween. Further, when a case cover 4 of the printing apparatus 1 is put in the closed state, the energizing force of a spring 9b disposed in the inside surface of the case cover 4 is applied to the packaging material 8 through a paper presser 9 of the printing apparatus 1, whereby the adhesive part 102 of the packaging material 8 is made closely adhere to the pickup roller 20 of the printing apparatus.
