<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate installation work, in a windmill driving device for rotating a blade of a windmill, and rotating a nacelle of the windmill. <P>SOLUTION: An output shaft 14 connected to a pinion 10 meshing with a ring gear 8 formed in a tower 2, is connected to a speed reduction mechanism 18. The speed reduction mechanism 18 is stored in a casing 16, and is fixed to the nacelle 4. A motor shaft 30 of a motor 28 is connected to an input part of the speed reduction mechanism 18, and a motor rotor 34 is joined to the motor shaft 30, and a stator 36 is arranged on its periphery, and the stator 34 is stored in a cylindrical motor-driven part casing 32. A cover 38 is arranged in an opening on the sped reduction mechanism 18 side of the casing 32, and a cover 40 is arranged in an opening on the opposite side. Bearings 42 and 44 rotatably holding the motor shaft 30 are respectively arranged in the covers 38 and 40, and the bearing 42 is arranged on the motor rotor 34 side more than a plane of the cover 38. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
