METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING LIQUID CRYSTAL DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal manufacturing method for preventing a glass substrate from being damaged on the way of manufacturing processes without increasing the number of manufacturing processes and for suppressing the degradation of strength of a liquid crystal device.

SOLUTION: In the liquid crystal device manufacturing method for forming a large panel corresponding to a plurality of liquid crystal devices by sticking a first mother board having a plurality of display areas each of which corresponds to one liquid crystal device and a second mother board to each other across a seal material formed so as to surround respective display areas and dividing the large panel into the plurality of liquid crystal devices to manufacture the plurality of liquid crystal devices, a process for sticking an optical film to the outer surface of at least one of the first mother board and the second mother board is performed before the process for dividing the large panel.
