PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a machining cost by simplifying a process for forming a hydrodynamic pressure generating portion in a bearing clearance. SOLUTION: Ink 12 containing fluororesin is supplied on the surface 2a1 of a blank 2a' so as to form a masking pattern 1 corresponding to the shape of the hydrodynamic pressure generating portion with the aggregate of a very small amount of the ink. After that, the surface of the blank at the non-masking portion 1b is removed by etching so as to form the hydrodynamic pressure generating portion. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
