A plug for connection of a thermocouple to a magnet assembly of a gas valve, which magnet assembly comprises a first male terminal placed within a second cylindrical terminal (2), and which plug comprises an insulating body (3) having an insulating male terminal (403) whose shape is complementary to the inner cavity of the second tubular cylindrical terminal (2) of the magnet assembly, which insulating male terminal (403) houses a first female tubular terminal (103) which is designed for engagement on the first male terminal of the magnet assembly, whereas the insulating terminal (403) engages in the second tubular terminal (2) of the magnet assembly, the plug having a second female terminal (203) whose aperture is complementary to the external shape of the second tubular terminal of the magnet assembly and engages on said second tubular ground terminal (2) of the magnet assembly when the first male terminal of the magnet assembly is engaged in the first tubular terminal (103) of the plug. The second female terminal (203) of the plug is shaped like an open cylindrical bushing, with the insulator body (3) of the plug having a lateral opening for radially fitting the second female terminal (203) of the plug onto the second tubular ground terminal (2) of the magnet assembly. |
