<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machine translation device using a plurality of dictionary databases. <P>SOLUTION: This machine translation device has: a translation term pair database 110 storing a translation term pair wherein an entry term of a language before translation and a translation term to the entry term by a language after the translation are associated; a parallel translation document database 120 described with parallel translation, storing a parallel translation document imparted with a classification code according to contents of the parallel translation; one or more technical term dictionary databases 140 storing the translation term pairs classified according to a prescribed classification method; a general term dictionary database 150 storing the translation term pair not classified into any of the technical term dictionary databases 140; a dictionary database production part 130 classifying the translation term pair by use of the parallel translation document, and storing it into at least one of the one or more technical term dictionary databases 140 or the general term dictionary database 150; and a translation processing part 180 translating a translation target document imparted with the classification code. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
