A secure window or door that has one or more articulated windows in the fixed window surround, adapted to open with each of two panels of the articulated window running in grooves or on rails of the fixed surround. The articulated window(s) is/are limited by stops in the grooves or on the rails that prevent them opening a gap large enough for a person to enter. The invention also provides a similarly articulated door, with stops that allow the articulated panels to be opened only to a gap to narrow to allow entry. |
