A dome switch assembly and a mobile terminal using the same are provided to lower a SAR(Specific Absorption Rate) value and improve radiation performance by extending a hinge contact part's connection point for the grounding layer toward the inside of the grounding layer so as to adjust a position and length for connecting the grounding layer of the hinge contact part. A dome switch assembly in a mobile terminal comprises a base film(131), a plurality of dome switches(135), a grounding layer(136), and a hinge contact part(138). The dome switches(135) are attached to the upper surface of the base film(131). The grounding layer(136) is formed on the upper surface of the base film(131), except for the dome switches(135). In the ground layer(136), a groove(137) is formed toward the inside from an outer lateral to be installed close to a hinge. The hinge contact part(138) is formed at the base film(131). One side of the hinge contact part(138) contacts the hinge. The other side, extended toward the inside of the groove(137), is connected to the bottom of the groove(137).
