Shoe sterilizing and drying device and method are provided to sterilize the insides of shoes directly with ultraviolet rays by injecting plural ultraviolet ray emitting diodes into the shoes placed inside a drying chamber. A shoe sterilizing and drying device includes a drying chamber having an opening/closing door, a drying portion case, and shelves, a hot wind supply portion having an air blower and a heating body, a duct portion having a main duct, plural auxiliary ducts and a hot wind discharge pipe, a sterilizing operation portion(23) and an opening/closing sensing sensor. A fixing guide pipe(24) is installed on the side of the hot wind discharge pipe(21). An ultraviolet ray emitting diode(27) moves up and down by movement of a central shaft(29) to be injected into the shoe placed on the shelf(5) in a sterilizing operation portion(23). |
